Miami Beach Gay Pride had their fundraiser party at the Marriott on Biscayne Bay on Friday. With grand marshal Roxanne Vargas, current Miami Beach mayor Dan Gelber, ex-Miami Beach mayor Matti Herrera Bower (the first female and the first Hispanic to hold that office), Miami Beach commissioner Michael Gongora (the first gay commissioner in Miami Beach), and Joanna James, Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride 2017.
